    I’ve got an X child theme set up. I’m modifying framework/views/icon/content-page.php in order to customise the layout of a third party calendar details/single page.

    The calendar plugin allows me to add content to an event using Visual Composer. I’d like to reference this block of VC content in content-page.php, so that the content appears on the event page.

    Adding <?php the_title(); ?> and <?php the_excerpt(); ?> to content-page.php does display the expected content, but <?php the_content(); ?> doesn’t do the trick.

    Is there a chunk of php (or another way) that I can add reference Visual Composer content in content-page.php?
