michaellanfieldParticipantmy site is http://www.thevegansandwich.com is now under construction, but basically I would like to create 2 primary menus on top of site. One below the other. One small one with different colour background with about menu, search bar, and social media icons. And one larger one below that with logo in the middle and one menu to the left of the logo and one other menu to the right of the logo with a different colour for this menu. How to do this? Below is the login detail for my wordpress. I would like all the menus to be static top (not moving when you scroll down).
PS. I do not want a bottom menu, but instead have the copyright bottom section to not be stuck at the bottom, but to still be there. Thank you.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully we cannot support any modifications to the header other than minor cosmetic changes due to the fact that X is a highly dynamic theme with many elements being constructed on the fly based on options in the Customizer. Among these, the header is one of the more complex elements of the theme and structural modifications to it will likely lead to numerous layout problems as there are a lot of things to take into consideration because of X’s responsive nature. Taking all of this into consideration, these types of updates are out of the scope of our support as their involvement is simply too great and we are a very small team. While we would love to be able to assist all of our users with every customization request, the simple reality is that we cannot cater to every inquiry. Additionally, we will not be able to support any issues that might arise from modifications made to this area on your own.
Thank you for your understanding.

michaellanfieldParticipantThank you for the reply. Is there no way to accomplish this similar to the site http://www.onegreenplanet.org ?

RupokMemberHi there,
You can use the topbar to place HTML as menu. Also you could search for third party plugin to achieve this. This is not a feature of theme so you need to accomplish this wither with custom development or plugin.
Thanks

michaellanfieldParticipanthow to create a topbar? The other link provided did not work. If there is a good plugin for this let me know. Thank you.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
The topbar can be enabled in the customizer, Appearance > Customize > Header > Miscellaneous. Once enabled, you can manually insert a menu in the topbar content. Regretfully it will not look like the example url because that site is not using X. Further customizations from here would be getting into custom development, which is outside the scope of support we can offer. If you need more in depth changes, you may wish to consult with a developer. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
Thanks for understanding.

michaellanfieldParticipantThanks. Seems to do the trick, even though I have to highly customize it to the way I like it to look.
