    Hi,
I’m using the Integrity Slack and I’ve installed a plugin to also create categories for pages as well. The idea was to add the Latest Posts Element from Cornerstone on a page that could include pages categories as well, besides posts and portfolio. Is that possible?

    thank you,
    Rui

    Hi Rui,

Thanks for writing in! Yes that’s certainly possible. You can include multiple “Recent Posts” element and set the post type to both “Posts” and “Portfolio”.

    Cheers!

    Hi Rupok,

    Thanks for the quick reply.
What I actually mean is: to also add recent pages on this functionality as there is for “Posts” and “Porfolio”. In this case I would add a specific category for a page and it show up all those Pages within a specific page. Am I making myself understood. I hope it’s clear enough.

In short: also add “pages” as there is for “posts” and “portfolio”.
    Thanks

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing back. There is no such thing as “Recent Pages” actually so it’s not possible to add pages like the posts and portfolios. But you can add widgets areas and add pages there as “Pages” widget.

    Cheers!

    Hi Rupok,

Ok, I understand that. But since it’s based on category filter and I’ve just added that feature to pages as well, it might be a change in the functions that I could do and render Pages as well on that feature.

But if it’s not possible, so be it.

    Thanks,
    Rui

    Hi Rui,

Thanks for writing back. This feature is integrated as Cornerstone element and it’s tough to change this with functions. You may try Essential Grid plugin bundled with X theme, and change the source type to page. That should display recent pages.

    Cheers!
