Hi! My site is Renaissance-Revival.com

I have spent the last week, 10 hours a day every day, building this website and am so happy with the results! I just want to make a few minor tweaks and haven’t been able to figure them out for myself.

1. On the home page index, I would like the feature photos from the posts to display as the full images, not thumbnails. Is it possible to change this?

2. On the featured post carousel at the top of the page, how do I take the caps lock off the words that are highlighted on the bottom of each post picture? Or, since the images I am choosing to display as my feature images already have the post title, can those titles be removed completely? Is that possible? OR EVEN better, could we take the hover highlight right off?

p.s. I was able to find a CSS hack on another forum to take off the date stamp of the hover highlight on the carousel, so I’m assuming that editing the carousel is possible?

3. On every post, the title shows twice. Once in a weird small font at the top of the page, and then underneath, it shows in my heading font. I would like to streamline this so that I only have the title showing once, preferably the small font being taken out. Is this possible?

4. How do I change the font color in the footer?

5. On some of the posts(but not all, I’m not sure why) like this one: http://renaissance-revival.com/renaissance-revival-can-ifesto-maker-not-taker/, if you scroll to the end of what is in the sidebar you see a section called “Meta” and underneath: site admin, log out, etc. What is this, why is it posted there, and can it be removed?

6. I have tried to add widgets in the sidebar- specifically, a facebook page plug-in through jetpack and a plugin of my instagram stream. There is nothing I can do to make these widgets work. I add them and save them, but they don’t show up. Any help in this area would be much appreciated!

#5 I can’t seem to see what you are describing but it seems like those fields appear when you open the post pages when you are logged in. Would you mind providing a screenshot so that we could confirm?

#6 Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.

Thank you SO MUCH!!! I really appreciate it! I implemented the custom code for issues 1-4 and they worked perfectly! for issue #5 I think your right, it was a matter of what I was viewing when I was logged in. Also for #6, I finally figured out how to do it. You guys are awesome!
