    How can I change the color of the background (behind the text) on the responsive slider.

    Also, it seems to not adjust very quickly when i view it at the different screen formats.

    Thanks for writing in!

    You can set the background color opacity of your layer under option setting (see: http://screencast.com/t/LigPDgvF). For more detail, refer to Revolution Slider documentation for layer settings: http://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/layer-settings/#tab-1438142298-2-92

    I am not using the Revolution Slider, the slider within the theme or by using shortcodes.

    Hey Terry,

    To clarify, you’re using a section background and not a responsive slider. It is not possible to change the color since you’re using a background image.

    Regarding the lag when resizing the browser window, please deactivate all third party plugins and give us access to your WordPress admin in a private reply.
