    I have looked for the solution in the forum and even tried a few. I have had no luck. I have downloaded the x-child theme.

    Please help me show the video frame without having to add a photo to the post. I’m willing to change the php code.

    Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post.     The top post caroussel doesn’t show the video frame. It only shows a black box. I understand if you add a featured image it will show. Unfortunately the featured image also shows in my video post. I would like to be able to post a video and the video picture/frame shows without having to add a picture to my post.

    Hi there,

    Videos will not display on post carousel or slider, they are meant to display the featured images. Even if your post format is a video, you’ll still need to set them a featured image if you wish to display them on carousel or slider.

    As a sample, I went ahead and added a featured image on your existing post.
