kludrikParticipantI want to place the same content above the masthead on all pages controlled once (like you can do by the inspector on header and footer) with a widget in the topbar.
I have done an excample of what I want by cheating it with a revolutionslider above masthead on this page:

As you can see on all the other pages the blue line with the Food Group logo is not present, but this is what I want to achieve.July 31, 2016 at 10:45 am #1111008
RupokMemberHi there,
You can use the Topbar or Topbar widget areas.
Cheers!

kludrikParticipantHow? Do I find it in inspector? Under header?

RupokMemberHi there,
Yes you will find them under Customize > Header. You can place the widgets from Appearance > Widgets after enabling widget areas from Customizer.
Cheers!

kludrikParticipantIt does not appear to work.

kludrikParticipantIt works now but not correctly. It rolls down when you push on the plus-button in the right corner. I want it to stay permanently like the excample I made on this page:

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. That’s how the Topbar widgets works. Did you try placing content through Customize > Header > Topbar Content? You need to enable Topbar first.
Cheers!

kludrikParticipantThe topbar content area in customizer is not advanced enough to be controlled like a widget.
I think I have to try to solve this through changing a .php file.
Thanks for your help, though!

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. Yes you can change the PHP template using Child Theme but it would be easier to place HTML code within this.
Cheers!

kludrikParticipantOk – I´ll try to do that.
Thanks!
