Hi, I just purchased the X theme and am really excited.

However, there is an effect that I can’t figure out how to do and I was wondering if I could get some CSS help.

I would like to have the featured image show up as a full page splash, with the title of the post over-layed over the image like this page on this site:

Tales from the Kanjo: Part II

I’m really hoping you guys can help me out with this as I really really want to achieve this effect using the X theme.

Thanks for writing in!

Unfortunately, showing a full-screen featured image with a title over it is not available as of now. It could be possible to achieve with in-depth template customization and CSS styling, but regretfully, custom development would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

However, I’ll consider it a featured request and will forward to our development team. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.
