    Hi,

I am trying to allow my client who I’ve assigned an ‘Editor’ user role. I want him to be able to assign sidebars I’ve set up to specific pages from the ‘Manage Sidebars’ page. I’ve installed the ‘User Role Editor’ plugin and tried giving the client the following capabilities…

    edit_theme_options
    edit_themes
    switch_themes

When the client tries to assign a sidebar to a page and clicks the ‘update sidebar’ button he gets a message saying “Cheating, are we? You are not allowed to manage these items.”

Obvioulsy I don’t want the client to have administrator access so what can I do?

    Thanks,
    Adam

    Hey Adam,

Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You might want to contact our trusted partners who caters X setup and customization needs. Please see https://community.theme.co/custom-development/

Alternatively, you could try out other plugins like Admin Menu Editor.

    Thanks.
