NicoModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in.
You might wanna try the plugin force regenerate thumbnail. It will force an image to regenerate thumbnails or images base on the screen size.
Please check also the link below to increase your site performance.
https://community.theme.co/kb/performance/
Hope it helps.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.

mariogarcia1ParticipantHi Support,
Wonder if you can help? I have tried to set up the “Ethos 1” demo and it hasn’t set up correctly. Neither the menu, pages or homepage or sliders have set up, and there doesn’t seem to be any demos for the sliders to install.
I have tried installing the demo twice, and i have tried installing the demo content xml file but without any luck.
Can you help and advise please?
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards
Mario

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in!
Standard demo content imports home page content only. Change slider display under Customize -> Ethos to random or featured. If you set it to featured posts, check the box ‘Post Slider Display’ under ‘Ethos post settings’ box, see the attachment.
Remove ‘Category IDs’ from Customize -> Ethos -> Blog options.
Hope it helps.

mariogarcia1ParticipantHi Support,
Many thanks for that, its the first time using Ethos have you any advice or tips for me in respect of difference to the other stacks? Would i be correct to assume that the demo is mainly post driven, instead of page driven?
With the to widgets above the nav bar, can this feature pages or woo products?
The reference to Capture88, can i ask where that is located and what it controls?
Thanks as always for your help.
Kind Regards
Mario

mariogarcia1ParticipantHi Support,
Sorry to bombard you with another set of questions straight away, i havent used posts that much previously. I have nearly always used pages, so this is a little new to me.
Can i ask how the area the navbar is controlled to choose what is displayed, is it via categories and or tags, and if so how do i set this within the bar to show the specific posts?
Can posts that are designed in cornerstone be shown in the area above the navbar? And could videos be placed within there?
Many thanks
Mario

Rue NelModeratorHello Mario,
Thanks for writing in! Are you referring the Slider Settings on the pages? If this is the case, the slider settings is only available on pages. Regretfully, this is not available in posts. If you are referring the menu, you must create a menu and assign it as your primary menu.
At this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

2, Can i ask how the area the navbar is controlled to choose what is displayed, is it via categories and or tags, and if so how do i set this within the bar to show the specific posts?
3, Can posts that are designed in cornerstone be shown in the area above the navbar?
4, Could videos be placed within there?
This is my first time using Ethos have you any advice or tips for me in respect of difference to the other stacks?
Hope this makes it clearer.

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
#1 Please follow this thread : https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/post-carousel-to-show-product-categories/
#2 You can set it to featured posts and then check the box ‘Post Slider Display’ under ‘Ethos post settings’ box.
#3 Yes, it doesn’t matter if you create post in CS, VC or visual editor.
#4 Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
Hope it helps.

ChristianModeratorPlease try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If you have any additional questions at this time we kindly ask that you open them up in a separate thread. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.
Thanks!
