    Hi,
for my menu icons I’d like to insert “hover-over icon text popup”, where when you hover over a menu icon, it will pop up with a text telling you what that icon means.
Example: If you hover over “Home” icon menu, it will popup with text over it saying “Home”
I added an image of tumblr menu as an example.
    Thanks

    Hi There,

Please insert the Title Attribute to your menu items:

If you can’t see that field, please click the screen options button on the top right corner, check on the Title Attributes:

    Hope it helps πŸ™‚

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing back. You can’t edit the bbPress menu this way since bbPress menu items are added automatically if enabled through Customizer. It’s not something that can be manage from Appearance > Menus. If you are still interested to change this with Child Theme then you can follow this – https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/add-text-to-bbpress-menu-and-reordering/#post-275126

(The above thread is not about same topic but it will give idea how to amend bbPress menu.)

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers!
