Hello,
in my website that uses Ethos and i will report it in the private one, i have the need to divide in the homepage all the posts divided by topic/category like the other magazines theme because i find the default “recent posts” really incomplete ad a homepage.There is any chance to use cornerstone for the homepage?
which kind of changes i can make on the homepage and how?

To achieve that kindly do the following.
1. Create a new page, call it homepage.
2. Set it as your front page under Settings > Reading

3. Build your page using cornerstone.
You may use recent posts element to display your posts.Hope that helps.

That’s not currently possible by options. The blog page is a blog page and can’t be customized. While the static page is not a blog page hence you can’t have a blog structure within it. It still possible in custom development, or you may use The Grid plugin or Essential Grid plugin to include your blog posts within your static home page. As for the slide show, you can create something like that in Rev Slider plugin, and add it within your home page’s section.
