I can’t chnage the home layout with the visual composer. Can you tell where can i do it?

Hi There,
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Hello There,
Thanks for the updates! First thing first, you need to activate Cornerstone plugin. This is needed to run X smoothly. Please take note that X shortcodes and its functionality has been consolidated into Cornerstone. Once activated, you should be able to edit your homepage because that homepage is created with Cornerstone. Editing your homepage with visual composer won’t help because you will just have to create it back from scratch since originally the homepage was created with Cornerstone.
To save you away from trouble, I have activated Cornerstone. I updated X theme too! Depending on what is easier for you, if you feel creating a page with Visual Composer will be easier and you are already familiar with, I would recommend that you simply create a new homepage and start from scratch. Once you are satisfied with the page that you have created, you can then assign it as your new homepage by going to Settings > Reading > Front Page Display > Front Page.
And if you just want to edit your existing homepage like add new elements or change some of the text in there, you can edit the page in Cornerstone.
