Jacqueline BParticipantHi,
Really appreciate all the help I previously received.Using:
WordPress 4.6
X Version: 4.6.1, child themeFor this site, the blog is the home page. The following is what I need help with:
- I have the blog page set up almost exactly how I want it to look but how do I duplicate it with all the same elements so I can create a new home page?
- I have the Customizer set to pick up random blogs in the slider. How can I make that feature work from another page?
- Which slider is used on the blog? Is it possible to access the settings of it? I want it to be full width under the logo/navigation but above the sidebar.
- Do I need to add pagination? If so, where do I set that up?
Thanks so much,

ChristianModeratorHey Jacqueline,
1. The blog isn’t duplicate-able
2-3. The slider uses Flex Slider but regretfully, this isn’t duplicate-able also. You will need to use Slider Revolution for other pages. This could be possible with custom development but that is outside the scope of our support.
4. In WP Admin > Settings, set Blog pages show at most to your desired number of items. If you set it to a number lower than your post quantity, the pagination will be displayed.
Thanks.

LelyModeratorHello Jascqueline,
1.) Yes, you’re correct for the demo being able to reused.
Just to clarify, you want another pages as your blog index page, and then create a static page for your homepage? If that is the case, create another page, let just say BLOG and another page home. Then on Settings > Reading > Frontpage displays > choose A static page (select below). Choose home on for Front page and then choose BLOG for Posts page. So you can edit your homepage as you like it then your BLOG page will display your blog.2.) For the slider, yes we’re using a FLEXSLIDER for Blog Page and Archive Pages. This is one of ethos stack feature. We can access this feature settings on Appearance > Customize > Ethos. This is not available by default on normal pages. On normal pages, we can use REVSLIDER OR LAYERSLIDER.
I am not sure what you meant by this I had tried to set the home page to a new home page but both the HOME and BLOG show an active states and then there is no access to the blog. As stated on #1 you can have a different homepage from your blog page. Please try that setup on Settings > Reading. I can see that your homepage is just a normal page and you blog page is still both your homepage and blog page.
Hope this helps.
