macknumParticipantHi,
I need to structure the portfolio in a hierarchical way.
Example:
– We got two categories: Professional and consumer products
– Each product can be in either or both categories
– Each product can have sub-productsExample: The product “paint” has got two sub-products “water based paint” and “solvent based paint”.
What we want to get accomplished is the following:
Product page (=portfolio page) has got the filters by categorie “professional” and “consumer”. “Paints” is shown for both, when you click on “paints” you will get the paint description with two sub-products “water based paints” and “solvent based paints” which are also products (=portfolio items), but these are not to be shown on the initial products page, there only the parent porftolio item “paints” should be shown.
Is this possible?
Best regards, Henning

ChristianModeratorHey Henning,
Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You might want to contact our trusted partners who caters X setup and customization needs. Please see https://community.theme.co/custom-development/. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!
