    Hi There!

I have installed a plugin that allows me to archive older posts that I’ve made. This makes it easier for me to organize everything instead of un-publishing them. Is there a way to hide those “archived” posts from the post carousel?

I’ve attached a screen for you to see.

    Thanks!

    Hi There,

    Thanks for writing in.

You could try using the function of Customizer > Ethos > Blog Options > Filterable index. It will limit on what categories you want to show in your posts.

Let u sknow how it goes.

    Thanks.

I tried enabling Filterable Index and put in the specific category ID’s. This did not hide the archived post that I re-categorized into a category that was not listed in Filterable Index. Any other options that I have?

    Hi again,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

Sorry for the confusion. Please choose Featured as the Display option (see attachment) so you could manually set the posts that would be shown in the Carousel. The Ethos Post Settings would be available for each of your post so you could set the post you want to feature.

    Thanks.

    Hey Christian,

I don’t see the attachment? Am I missing something? Thanks.

    Hi There,

On the Customizer under the Ethos panel, choose Featured on the post carousel display option.

Then choose any of your post to display on Carousel by enabling the Post Carousel Display option of that post.
