    Hi Guys,

I am starting a new website and would like to copy this type of frontage structure – have you got any ideas on how to help?

    http://www.positivepsychologyinstitute.com.au/ppi_home

I understand doing the sections, rows and columns. I really like the double length Welcome section, plus the 6 graphic boxes in the style that they appear here i.e. the full image link with no padding.

How could you create this type of set up in X theme?

    Many thanks Fiona

    Hi Fiona

I guess a good way of using this layout would be using the Essential Grid Plugin on the right side.

You could devide your column in 1/3 + 2/3 and use a essential grid on the 2/3.

Let us know if you like this suggestion or if would prefer to take a different path.

    Hope that helps,

    Joao

    Hi Fiona,

Thanks for the compliment, but lets celebrate just after you achieve your desired layout 🙂

I am not sure I understand your question, but essential Grid is a extremely versatile plugin, you can use custom post types, custom taxonomy, categories, tags, posts, pages, media(including images) etc.

Please check our knowledge base for more information.

Let us know if you face any issue during the setup.

    All the best,

    Joao

    Maybe best.

I am completely new to all this. That link is good but is there anything that would walk me through the whole process based on my wish for the grid elements simply to link me on to the relevant pages as my example url I sent?

i.e if I don’t want the ‘media source’ to be an image or video but simply a page on the website?

    Hi there,

I believe the above walkthrough is pretty straightforward and very easy. I am not sure how simple that could be. Kindly spend a few minutes and hopefully you will understand.

    Cheers!

Hi, I get that it is simple to attach either posts or media, or even woo commerce product, but I want to know if I can simply attach pages through the grid Like the url example. I have just watched their basic videos and this page sent through but cannot work it out.

I am relatively new so if you could help in terms of can the Essential Grid do the attached idea, or is there another solution that can be done with X?

    thanks Fiona

    Hi Fiona,

Thanks for writing back with clarification. However I don’t think it’s a feature by Essential Grid. So not sure how could you achieve this. You can try other third party plugins for this. Let’s search on Google or CodeCanyon for this.

    Cheers!

Okay, I’m not sure there is. In this case can you help me on how in a section I could divide up the background colour into thirds? i.e. a full width content band section divided into 3?

If you look at your Restaurant Ext Demo about halfway down the Home page you have a content band divided in two, so essentially that is what I am thinking but in 1/3 where I can then put 3 columns and use cornerstone elements…

Does that make any sense? Thanks Fiona

    Hi there,

You can simply adjust the number of columns of a row in Cornerstone. See screenshot below.

    Hope this helps.

  • <script> jQuery(function($){ $("#no-reply-1005182 .bbp-template-notice, .bbp-no-topic .bbp-template-notice").removeClass('bbp-template-notice'); }); </script>
