aeropaymanParticipantDear Themeco,
I don’t know whether or not you provide support for your plugins, but since X theme doesn’t come with a license for essential grid, I am asking here. I would really appreciate the help. I have set up a woocommerce product grid which has an add to cart button on every product. Currently, the button works however it causes the user to refresh the page. I notice that the add to cart button on the default woocommerce shop page uses ajax so the page doesn’t refresh. Furthermore, on the woocommerce shop page a green check appears on the screen when a user adds a product to the cart. How would I configure essential grid so that a) products are added to the cart via ajax.
b) the green check appears on the screen.I also have another question regarding essential grid. I recently purchased the woocommerce lightbox pro plugin which displays a product quick view when a user click on a product. I would like to replace the official essential grid lightbox with this lightbox but I am unsure how to do so. I understand this is probably beyond the scope of your support but if you could point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful.
Finally, I am using the essential grid woocommerce grid on my homepage, but the original woocommerce shop page still exists. Can I disable this page somehow?
Thanks,

LelyModeratorHello Adele,
Thanks for posting in.
By default, the fancy ajax confirmation is only available in product archive pages. Making this available to essential grid is possible but it would need customization which is outside the scope of our support. Thank you for understanding. You might want to consult a developer to achieve this.Regarding the Woocommerce Lightbox, infortunately, it is not integrated into Essential Grid. You can go to Essentials Grid > Global Settings > Select Lightbox type to see what is available.
If you want to disable the default woocommerce shop page, please go to Woocommerce > Settings > Products Tab > Display > Shop Page: Remove the page.
Hope this helps.

aeropaymanParticipantThanks for the help. Also, so far I have used the customizer to add all my custom css to my website. I would like to create a child theme so I can further customise my site. How can I create a child theme and keep all my current settings and customizer css?

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for the updates!
To know more about how you can set up a child theme, please check it here:
https://community.theme.co/kb/how-to-setup-child-themes/And you can download the X child theme from here:
https://community.theme.co/child-theme/A child theme allows you to make code changes that won’t be overwritten when an X update is released. After your child theme is setup, please review how we recommend making template changes in Customization Best Practices.
And lastly, please be advise that this is the order of the styles loaded in X.
– Stack styles
– Child theme style.css
– Customizer’s custom css
– Cornerstone’s custom cssHope this helps.
