alessandromariaParticipantHi all.
I admit, I’m pretty confused. I bought X/Cornerstone to make a single page full width with content + post, something like this http://marketers.media/ but after a couple of days trying I quite dejected. No clues.
I started with Renew 4, but I’m not able to:
1 – achieve the “image on the right/excerpt on the left” or viceversa (green&purple arrow in the screenshot)
2 – Put “other posts” buttons below (orange arrow in the screenshot)
Anyone can suggest the best way to achieve this look? What Demo Content is the best to start with? Should I start from scratch?
Thanks to all in advance.

alessandromariaParticipantWhile you look at my site, I clarify a bit more: I played with Cornerstone for two days, but I wasn’t able to add blog posts to the main page. The only way I found to link blog posts in Cornerstone is with the “Recent Post” element, but this module works weird (you can see it at the bottom of my page) and has few options to play with.
This is how the posts look like (“outside” Cornerstone, of course) with horizontal and vertical orientations. No images display, only the “dummy” red icon of Cornerstone.

Why the images don’t display? There’re no other ways to “link” posts in Cornerstone? There is no way to put excepts next to images?
Again, thanks in advance.

RadModeratorHi there,
I think you should use Essential Grid plugin that is bundled with the theme. For these reasons,
1. You can’t embed blog posts on the homepage if it’s static. You could use recent posts element but with limited feature (eg. layout and pagination).
2. You can create skin layout for your Essential Grid without affecting cornerstone layout.
3. You can achieve the layout per skin without worrying cornerstone layout. You can simply add and remove elements and position them.

Hope this helps 🙂
