I had an old version and was receiving errors when trying to auto update the theme from dashboard. I decided to delete the old Xtheme and reinstall it.

I went to my hosting cpanel, navigated to the correct directory then went went to wp content>themes> and deleted the x theme.

Back in my WP dashboard Xtheme was in fact gone. Sweet. I clicked the “upload” button to upload my newly downloaded version 4.2.2 and now it just hangs on a white screen. This is a live website and I need help immediately.

Hi there,

Could you please try the following workaround.

First of all read the link:

Than follow this steps:

1. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.

2. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)

3. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via CPANEL.

4. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X Addons section. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.
