    Hello,

    I read another post with recommended steps before updating to the latest version of X theme. But it was not very detailed. Can you assist me with either instructions for the following or point me to another relevant forum posting that already has detailed/step-by-step instructions?

    BEFORE UPDATING

    -Read all the release notes for the update, found in the changelog. Be sure to read the notes for every release since the last time you updated.
    -Backup your site.

    Would mind providing us your URL, lettings us know what version of X you are using at the moment and if you are using a CHild Theme?

    I’m using X version 4.5.2 and yes, I do have a child theme.

    I’m hoping you can help me with steps to back up the site and then also clear any cache that might cause issues so I can update.
