3xoneagencyParticipantHey..Okay so I have 3 major issues that I cannot fix and have looked through everything. I really need them fixed ASAP. Okay here they are.
1-Im using Ethos 1 and the topnav bar opacity is .25 and cannot change it no matter what code I put in. It is bright on every other version (tablet or cell) but is not bright at all on computer. Both Windows and Safari. The same goes for the nav links in the footer.
2. How to I add a landing page to the front cover. I want to add revslider when someone first visits the site and I cannot figure out how to do it on Ethos 1
3. Why won’t the site icons work. I do not know how to save a favicon path or whatever you are talking about. On all other sites, I just put in the picture I want and viola, it’s done, But not on yours.
Please help me.
Thanks

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
#1 Please provide us with URL of page in question.
#2 Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
#3 You should add icon’s absolute URL in favicon field inside customizer, e.g :
http://yoursite.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/favicon.icoHope it helps.

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
#1 Please add following code in Customize -> Custom -> CSS :
.x-container.main:before { top: auto; } .x-navbar { background-color: rgba(5, 0, 35,0.5); }#2 Adding slider to blog page is not currently possible without customization. Please follow this thread to add slider to blog page. Since that thread is old you may need some extra customization after implementing the code.
#3 Please upload your .png file here http://www.favicon.cc/ to generate .ico format. Then upload it to your site using media, copy generated URL that shows its path and paste it under Customize -> Site icons -> favicon field.
Hope it helps.
