bendidogParticipantHi there, when I use a .jpg file for the header rather than text, it doesn’t size on mobile. I have read other forum questions re the same issue, and have tried some “work arounds” – I have made a revolution slider above the masthead with the logo, which is now responsive, but to hide the original header which I no longer want I have had to make the font white and reduce the size as much as possible, but there is still a strip there I would like to get rid of.
So my questions are: 1) why isn’t the jpg header mobile responsive? Am I doing something wrong or does X simply not resize the header image for mobile?
2) If I need to work around this issue by using a slider etc., how can I switch the original header off completely?
My website is http://www.bendigodogtraining.com.au/wordpress

NicoModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in.
Would you mind sharing us a screenshot of the problem so we could fully understand which part is not showing great and please share us the mobile or screensize used.
Thanks.

bendidogParticipantThanks Nico for your quick response.
I dont know how to take a screenshot of the mobile phone, however I have switched the logo header back on, aswell as the revolution slider. If you look at the website now on a mobile you will see one header has been resized (the slider is responsive) and one that hasn’t (the jpg logo).
Either I would like to have the jpg logo responsive and do away with the slider, or be able to remove the logo altogether and use the slider. As I said, I can almost make the logo/header section dissappear, but there still remains an area of about 50 px high (just white space below the slider) were it was which I don’t want.

Paul RModeratorHi,
This is how your site looks on mobile.

If you would like to remove the logo, you can add this in custom > css
.x-logobar { display: none; }Hope that helps.

bendidogParticipantThanks that removed the logo fully, and will fix the problem, although it doesn’t solve the issue of the logo not sizing on mobile.
I suspect that screenshot is not of an actual mobile, but of a simulated mobile screen on PC? The logo seems responsive when I size the browser window on the PC down just fine, but when I look on a real mobile device, it doesn’t.

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
I tested your site in real phone and get the same result.
Please clear cache on your phone and check again.
Thanks.

bendidogParticipantYes I removed the logo with the CSS you suggested now. Just thought you might like to know so that you can fix the non-responsive logo on mobile for future versions of x. Thanks for the help.

FriechModeratorHi There,
All native images on X|Theme are all responsive. On the screenshot below that is how the logo looks on small screen (that is the logo, I did hide the slider). So I’m not sure what do you mean by not responsive, If you would not mind please clarify so we can take more closer look on the issue.
Thanks.
