EckoLockoParticipantHello,
I would like to know how I set the header of my website and my menu to be similar to this website.
I’m trying but I can not disable the header and make menu place on top of a slider revolution for example. So far I’ve only been able to do transparence the header and the menu background also but still occupy their space and not placed on the content.
I understand that the disappearance of the menu to perform the scroll (like web reference) can not be achieved with own menu options and should be done by code, I’m wrong? Can you orient me please?
I hope you can help me, thank you very much.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. It would be tough to mimic the example site you given and will require bunch of custom CSS and JS as well. Unfortunately it would be out of our support scope. But if you want transparent Navbar after scroll then it would be possible.
Cheers!

EckoLockoParticipantHi,
I know that get exactly the same result can be tricky but I’ll be happy not having header and have the transparent menu, in fact I would like to add just a menu using the superfly plugin, ie the menu appear only on mouse over an icon in skewed panel.
I could indicate how to achieve this?
I’d love to know how to get my logo page appear only at the beginning and disappear when you scroll as in the example, if it is impossible to help me with this, i would greatly appreciate that could guide me, i have no problem working to achieve .
Thank you so much, I hope you can help me.

ChristianModeratorHey there,
Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You might want to contact our trusted partners who caters X setup and customization needs. Please see https://community.theme.co/custom-development/. Thanks for understanding. Take care!

EckoLockoParticipantI understand what you said but I can not believe that the mere fact of not having header and hide the menu is not something that can help me.
From what I’ve seen on this forum have offered help in other similar cases, I just like to have the possibility of not having header and navbar and the menu is through the Superfly plugin, this is not possible?

EckoLockoParticipantHi again,
first of all sorry for my insistent questions but im trying hard to solve this situation, second thanks for your help and patience. Maybe i did not explain well that i want to achieve, i’ve seen a lot of forum topics, videotutorials and webs about the X theme and i saw a lot of wonderfull websites that have the design i want.
I saw this web ( http://pryormedia.net/ ) and i know this was made with the X theme, i want something like this but without the navbar, i want the menu like the skewed panel used with the superflys plugin.
Maybe this is more easy to achieve, the last web was an ideal website but with this i can solve all my problems.
This is possible?
Thanks for all again.

EckoLockoParticipantHi again,
i am trying to hide header and modify menu by css until you can answer me but i am having a trouble with the navbar.
The state of header and menu was ok right now but a black box appear in navbar around menu, i dont know why and i cant remove it..
I almost have the functionality that i want, sure i will make more questions in future but as i saw until this moment youre the greatest, fastest and efficient support center that i ever knew, there is a lot of usefull help at forums but sometimes is hard to find answers, thanks again!

RadModeratorHi there,
Would you mind providing where the black box is? What I see is black admin bar, black header widget area, and the black background of the video.
Thanks!

EckoLockoParticipantHi,
sorry for not write to you before but i solve this yesterday night, some hours ago and forget to response to you.
I have another question, how can i change the Superfly icon that opens menu?
Thanks!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Because this requires a template change, I’d advise that you setup a child theme. This allows you to make code changes that won’t be overwritten when an X update is released. After your child theme is setup, please review how we recommend making template changes in Customization Best Practices.
Please add following code in child theme’s style.css file:
.sfm-navicon-button.x.sf_label_custom div:before { content: "\e91e"; }Instead of
e91eput your favorite icon’s Unicode.
You can find list of icons here : htp://fontawesome.io/iconsHope it helps.

EckoLockoParticipantHello,
Thanks for the help.
I tried to set the theme of children, but I’m not sure if I did it correctly, you can check please?
I added the code in style.css child theme, but nothing changes ..
Maybe I’ve mistyped my question, I want to change the icon superfly with a custom image (PNG, SVG ..), I tried to upload a SVG icon in the menu Superfly through IcoMoon App as indicated by the help of the plugin Superfly with but only it appears in grayscale.
I wrote CSS code in Customize>Custom CSS, I have to put that code in style.css also to avoid overwriting?
October 31, 2016 at 11:01 pm #1238698
LelyModeratorHi There,
The code will not work in the customizer because it strip the \. Then I visit your style.css and the code is not there too. See attached screenshot.
What Icon should it be? See this:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDXVeRjKl0
You can try this:.sfm-navicon-button.x.sf_label_custom div:before { content: "\e91e" !important; color: red !important; }Change the values to your preferred color and icon.

EckoLockoParticipantYou are very good, the best support I’ve ever known and thank you very much for your help and disposal.
I’m pretty new to this world of CSS and I’m testing design on the web but with all your help, you have offered to me and you offer to other users, I’m learning a lot and it really is a luxury.
I am dedicated to training and I would like to know if there are any wordpress plugin on the subject have a better integration with your theme.
If I have new doubts it is better than create another post or continue consulting in this, if I do not find help in the forum of course.
