Hello,

I have searched on the forum but didn’t find the answer.

I am looking for a tooltip (with the [Extra] shortcode) with multiple paragraph jumps (i want to show a list as a “how to” when hovering the link), but when i hover the link, it shows the content with HTML code for paragraph jumps (<br/>) and bold font (<strong>).

So how can i format the text in order to show the tooltip whith different lines jumps and with bold on few words ?

I had a look with your link, but it doesn’t provide me the answer.

Nevertheless i have cleared the cache but the problem is still there, i can’t have paragraph jumps on my tooltip…

Thanks for the clarification! Unfortunately, the Tooltip & Popover feature of X is not design to contain an HTML. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

Thanks for your answer.

Just in order to clarify it, i don’t add manually HTML code in the Tooltip feature, it’s added automatically when writing some pargagraph jumps.

Is it the same for you (i need extra development) or is it a bug ?

You added line breaks and HTML within it.

1) Choisissez la couleur du modèle
2) Cliquez sur <strong>Personnaliser le produit </strong>(rectangle bleu)
3) Insérez une image ou un texte en cliquant sur le produit
4) Cliquez sur <strong>Terminer
</strong>5) Choisissez une taille et une quantité puis cliquez sur <strong>Ajouter au panier</strong>

It should be like this,

Tooltip is for inline plain text only.

Thanks for your reply.

It would be great to have line breaks in tooltip with [Extra] shortcode, because normally with some CSS, tooltips allow to have several lines like line breaks.

Example here : http://www.menucool.com/tooltip/css-tooltip

Maybe in a future update ?
