RubrikaParticipantHi,
I´m having troubles activating GZIP compression, I don´t know if its a Theme issue or not, but I´m kinda desperate with this.
I tried using W3 total cache setup and via .htacess too, but It´s not working. Actually It is enabled (at lest thats what this checker) says, but if you go to google speed test it gives an awful score and an alert (there are several to fix, but this one is the one I´m working at the moment).
Relevant facts:
-Recently I moved to https with Really Simple SSL plugin.
-Every uncompressed file appears with “?x52123” at the end of its extensionThis last thing seems to be the main problem, but I don´t know why It´s happening.
The website is rubrika.es
Thanks in advance for your help

LelyModeratorHi There,
This is not a theme issue but rather hosting. Please check this:https://www.giftofspeed.com/enable-gzip-compression/. If you’re not comfortable doing this, please ask your hosting provider to avoid issues.
Hope this helps.

RubrikaParticipantWell, as I said gzip is enabled and it seems to be allright. If you insert the URL I gave you can check this.
The actual problem seems to be that files are not being compressed, maybe because of its extension. I don´t know why my files are being read like this: jquery.themepunch.tools.min.js?x52123
Do you know something about that?

ChristianModeratorThat will not affect compression. Please contact your web host or a third party developer.
Thanks.
