MrsinnsinnyParticipantAs title, the google map element is not working.
It displays as a white box in Cornerstone and shows an error message when published (see attached image).
Any ideas?
Thanks

[email protected]ParticipantI am also experiencing the same issue. The map loads for a split second, then a grey overlay with an error appears. See this website: http://thee2visalawyer.com/contact/
In the JavaScript console, I see a MissingKeyMapError error:
js?ver=4.5.3:32 Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#missing-key-map-error_.ab @ js?ver=4.5.3:32(anonymous function) @ common.js:51(anonymous function) @ common.js:189c @ common.js:45(anonymous function) @ AuthenticationService.Authenticate?1shttp%3A%2F%2Fthee2visalawyer.com%2Fcontact%2F&callback=_xdc_._…:1
util.js:211 Google Maps API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keysI looked for a place to add the Google Maps API key that I created, and could not find a way. I have also tried creating my own map to embed, however I cannot edit the height or the color scheme, so I would like to use the Google Maps element if possible.
Thanks.

shawn.searsParticipantSame issue here. newsunrisepreschool.com bottom of the page. I have an embedded map earlier in the page that is rendering fine. It is just the Google Maps element in cornerstone that is having issues.
Please help.

Nabeel AModeratorHi guys,
Thanks for writing in! The Google Maps APIs require an API key for new domains as of June 22nd, 2016. See announcement: http://googlegeodevelopers.blogspot.com.au/2016/06/building-for-scale-updates-to-google.html I will forward this to our development team and they will look into this matter.
Thank you for understanding!

carbon14ParticipantHi. I have an API-key but from there on I´m a bit lost. where do I copy/paste my API key so that maps load? Here in the x theme / wordpress? Or maybe another place? I am a novice regarding these issues so a recipe to get maps loading in the x theme with cornerstone editing would be nice.
Thanks

FriechModeratorHi There,
You can follow the solution provided here: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/map-error/#post-1059000
On the given code look for this string YOUR_API_KEY and replace that with your actual API key.
Thanks.
