    Hi,
    I’m new to website building and i’m currently trying to set up Google Analytics. On another webste i saw that it would appear on the dashboard of the WP site. For me, i have to actually go to the GA site and login to see my data. I was wondering how to get this on my WP instead?

    I am using a child theme and my site isn’t currently live. Not sure if this is the problem.

    I’m a bit confused with what i’ve done. I have installed an ‘Insert header and footer’ plugin and placed the code in that as instructed on another site. I have also ensured the X theme extension has been activated. I think i’ve made a bit of a mess.

    Hi There,

    You will need to install a plugin that does that.

    I personally like Analytify, but there are others.

    Just make sure to don´t insert your google analytics tracking code in two places other wise your website will double count.

    X Google Analytics ADDON does´t come with a dashboard Analytics, it just helps analytics to track information from your website.
