ahallmarkParticipantHello!
I noticed my bounce rate for one of my websites is really low. I am using google tag assistant and see that the analytics ID is duplicated. It might have happened during the migration to themeco hosting but either way, how should I go about deleting the duplicate ID? I use X’s analytics add-on to place the ID.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Please check where you have added the code and try to remove it.
Let us know how it goes,

ahallmarkParticipantI understand that. I’m asking where does your add-on for X place google analytic code so I know where to delete it. I didn’t see that listed in the knowledge base, I apologize for not asking more clearly.

ahallmarkParticipantFrom what I understand it should be placed in either functions.php or header.php but I do not see any analytics listed. I use a child theme as well, but I checked both child and regular X. Still nothing listed.

RadModeratorHi there,
X google analytics is an extension (plugin) and it’s not part of functions or head templates. You can go to Admin > Addons > Google Analytics to remove your GA code, or simply disable it.
Thanks!
