Hi I’ve seen the old posts on this but was wondering if I actually bought the plug-in from theme punch can I uninstall it then re-install with their purchase code, get the demo content and still have it work with you X theme. what do you think?

Hey There,

Thanks for writing in!

As the Revolution Slider plugin is bundled with X theme, you can make it work for you without any additional license. If you still want to use it for more functionalities, you need to buy an additional license of it and validate it within the theme.

We are not able to provide the demos separately but since you are using a Licensed version, you can download Demo Content and can use it within the theme.

great to you know where I can download this Demo Content? Can’t find a link that does not require me to purchase another license.

One last question, when you say “If you still want to use it for more functionalities, you need to buy an additional license of it and validate it within the theme.” You mean validate within X theme? If so where do I do that? Or do you mean validate within the rev slider theme?

Also, I also wrote authors of rev slider and this is what they say, maybe it helps: “The sliders usually use bespoke demos and not just the one from the plugin – if this is the case with that theme then you will need to contact the authors of the theme to get the XML content.”

Would you mind say which slider specific you are referring to? We have access to the Sliders of the Expanded Demos of X and we would be able to provide those.

Beside those, Revolution Slider offers a good collection of Free Templates which you can download without purchasing the plugin.
