Alyssa KParticipantHi,
Was wondering if it is possible to get the description for a category to show on that category page? I know it says “The description is not prominent by default; however, some themes may show it.” So was curious if there was a way to show it or not.
Thanks in advance

KoryKeymasterHey Alyssa,
Thanks for writing in! X does not take advantage of this feature in the theme, so there is no way to have it display.

Alyssa KParticipantOkay, one more question. Is it possible to make it so that the separate post links on the category pages don’t have a text preview?

ChristianModeratorHey Alyssa,
Technically, it is possible but unfortunately, you’ll need to edit template files if it is not available by default in your stack. And, template editing falls beyond our scope of support. The good news is, you can find great WordPress developers in oDesk or Microlancer to do the job for you. X is easily customizable by a professional WordPress developer.
Thank you for understanding.
