Hello,
I’m trying to figure out if X will work for a new project of mine. I use it already on a bunch of other sites but not sure if it can do what I am looking for so here goes.

I’m having a problem figuring out how to create a photography site with integrated ecommerce and I’m thinking X might be the ticket, but I haven’t been able to find any examples.

Basically I’m looking to create a beautiful photography site, that is all a gallery, and each image can display large or fullscreen, and have a masonry layout for the different galleries.

I can do this, but then I have to have the ecommerce store separate, so that a user has to view the image, then click view the store, then click buy the image.

I’d like to make it so that each gallery image, either fullscreen or large, can actually be the shopping cart too if you will, so that they can see the price, and have the whole site basically be a big store.

Does that make sense? Any idea how I could create that with X??

Thanks for posting in.

That’s possible, though if you prefer something that’s ready to use without too much customization. Then you can use Rev. Slider with Woocommerce as Content source. Or Essential Grid plugin with Product type as the source, you can edit and build skin and layout (eg. masonry) with this plugin. Plus, you can enable lightbox to pop your image up 🙂

Those sound like they could work. A few more questions though:

First, what does it cost to upgrade or is it included to get the Gold edition of Envira Gallery with the purchase of X? I think the e-commerce function of that could work as well.

With Essential Grid and product type as source, could I display a variable product? All of the images are available in multiple sizes, finishes and price points. Can I display variable products to have a clean size and finish selection?
