We would like to add another footer widget under the current one and add styled text and a button centered in the widget.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! You can navigate to Appearance > Customize > Widgets and select your footer to add the multiple widgets.

Yes thanks. We know how to add a footer widget. If you go to the footer widget on the page I referred you to https://mbguiding.ca/ you will see that. My question was how to add an additional footer widget below the first one with a centred button. Please advise.

Thanks for writing in!

To add nested widgets you need to select the footer widgets under Appearance > Widgets. Then select text widgets and place button shortcode.

Yes thank you. We know how to add a button. We want to add a button and style it the same as the other buttons site wide and have that button centred inside the footer widget. Please advise.

If you don´t manage to setup yourself, please provide a a page where yo have the button as you would like the button to look like.

Not sure the break in communication is here. We know how to add buttons everywhere on our website except in the footer.

To center, you can add the class “center-text” to your elements.
