    So I’m sure that it’s something really easy, and I’m just missing it, but I can’t for the life of me find the color control for the footer widget bar background. I’ve been through the entire customizer 3 times, and can’t find it. I found the control for the text color, and the bottom bar, but not what I am looking for. help.

    Hey There,

    Thanks for posting in!

    Add this css at your customizer’s custom css under Admin > Appearance.

    .x-colophon {
background-color:#ffffff !important;
}

    You can use your own color in the above code to change the background color of the footer widget.
