Bart PParticipantOn the site http://m-eat.nl/ I use a custom background on each page.
The background image is set to fixed, but on an iPhone this is not working.The ‘Custom CSS settings’ on the ‘Page Settings’ I use:
body {background: url(“http://m-eat.nl/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/red-chili.jpg”);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: center top;
background-attachment: fixed;
}Is there a trick to resolve the fixed problem on an iPhone?

NicoModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in.
We’ve tried to test it on our Iphones, Ipad, landscape and portrait. Everything works fine. Try to clear cache on your site and on your browser used in Iphone or Ipad.
Let us know if you already figured it out.
Cheers!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
I’m another member of support staff and I couldn’t replicate the issue, background is fixed. Did you clear cache on your phone?
Thanks.

Bart PParticipantYes, i did clear the cache on the iPhone and iPad.
I’m using Safari that’s built in on the iPhone and iPad.
Using iOS 8.2Screenshot of my iPad: http://m-eat.nl/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_0220.jpg
The end of de background image is at de tip of the red arrow.
Proof that the background isn’t fixed.March 19, 2015 at 10:05 am #231085
ZeshanMemberHi Bart,
Fixed backgrounds are disabled for most of the mobile browsers including iOS Safari (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23236158/how-to-replicate-background-attachment-fixed-on-ios). For an alternate solution you can use background images option under Page Settings > Background Image(s) (see: http://prntscr.com/6ipm3i).
Thank you.
