Hello, How can I get the filter topic to show, also I would like my blog style layout to look like the ethos1.

Hey there,

Please enable Filterable Index in Ethos options in the Customizer. See https://community.theme.co/kb/customizer-ethos/ for more details. To replicate Ethos 1, please import the Ethos 1 Customizer settings in Addons.

Thank you, But I dont see where the ethos 1 customizer settings, just the demo content

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Hi there,

There are no posts showing because there are category IDs added in the filter that doesn’t exist.

You can remove them then save the customizer or add the correct IDs which you can find here: https://community.theme.co/kb/how-to-locate-category-ids/

what about To replicate Ethos 1, please import the Ethos 1 Customizer settings in Addons

Hi There,

We are referring to the Addons > Customizer Manager Import/Export function.

But I think you dont need to do this as you already imitate the Ethos 3 demo on your site.

And the filterable index dropdown is already showing on your site.

Ok thank you, If I was to use the reset function would that bring back all the default Ethos 1 settings?
also what do you recommend the best way to back up my site so just in-case I want to go back to my old settings?

Hi there,

Yes, the reset function will set all the settings in the customizer to the default settings of the active stack.

There are many different plugins you can use to backup your site. Here are some other popular options:

• Backup Buddy (iThemes)
• Duplicator (WordPress.org)
• WP Clone (WordPress.org)
