Hello,
I came across a piece of software that is absolutely useful and 100% free (incredibly!) called tawk.to
I actually discovered it thanks to an user in the (awesome) Theme X community group on Facebook.I’d like to use this thread to add this as a feature request for an alternative live chat tool. Olark is fine but it’s very limited unless you sign up for a monthly service. Tawk.to, instead, offers all of the paid options FOR FREE and even more!, it has a very active development team and even their own API!
I’ve already tested it on a few X sites and i can testify it works like a charm with X, plus it also has a suport ticketing system included in the service (for free!!!) so it would be like killing a bird with 2 stones!
We certainly appreciate the feedback! This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive. Thanks!
