brandonlarParticipanti’ve already went through my hosting providers and they said it’s not on them and to check with theme developers.
i’ve gotten a fatal error.
Fatal error: Class ‘WC_Vendors’ not found in /home/ijroiuwa/public_html/wp-content/themes/x-child1/functions.php on line 167
he said this happened when he disabled the woocommerce function. I’m currently using x theme and he says its the themes compatibility with woocommerce. he has re-enabled back the woocommerce plugin but the problem still persists and i cant get into my admin page at all.
can you help?

brandonlarParticipantupdate, i was able to get inside after a while, it managed to load.
but then it went back into the initial error of 524 timeouts.
it takes very long for me to enter the wp-admin page, as well as do anything inside, going to posts page or anything at all. my hosts have assured it’s not on their end and they cant help me further.

RupokMemberHi there,
Sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Your error message looks like an issue with your Child Theme’s code. Let’s try switching to X from Child theme and check again.
Thanks!

brandonlarParticipantHi, okay but how do i retain my existing styles/codes from the child theme?

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Before activating parent theme, export customizer settings under X addons page. After activating the theme, import customizer file.
If switching to parent theme fixes the issue, it means that that one of your code in child theme’s functions.php file is causing the issue. You’ll have to remove functions from functions.php file and add them back one by one until you find culprit code.
Hope it helps.

brandonlarParticipantGot it thanks!
Another question, my pages arent even loading. Like i cant get to my dashboard or even go to plugins/addons page etc, is it related to the child theme or?

Paul RModeratorHi,
I would try checking with your hosting provider on this particular issue as it sounds like something related to your setup is causing this. Typically, this is due server configuration problems (i.e. underpowered, traceroute issues, packet loss, permissions errors, et cetera). Additionally, your host will be able to diagnose things much better due to the fact that they have a more complete view of your account and can work behind the scenes with you. If the problem you are experiencing persists after working with your host, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you. Any relevant information that you can share with us from your host is also greatly appreciated as it will help us to better ascertain the source of the problem.
