TashibleParticipantHi, just wondering how I can choose an image to appear when I share the URL on facebook? At the moment it is drawing from random images on the homepage which aren’t really appropriate for the purpose. Thanks

FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! We recommend Yoast SEO this plugin has a flexible control over open graph.
If you choose that path, you need to disable the X Open Graph to avoid conflict. That is on Customizer > Social > Enable Open Graph.
Keep in mind that Facebook cache is brutal, so always debug the page here: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ after you change something, so facebook can fetch that new information.
Hope it helps, Cheers!

The ‘fb:app_id’ property should be explicitly provided, Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog.August 31, 2016 at 11:06 pm #1156259

LelyModeratorHi There,
Thank you for the URL. The error is because those meta information is not provided for your homepage.
When I viewed your site source code I saw this notice from Yoast Seo:
<!-- Admin only notice: this page doesn't show a meta description because it doesn't have one, either write it for this page specifically or go into the SEO -> Titles menu and set up a template. -->
Please go to Seo > Titles and Meta to set this information. See attached screenshot.September 4, 2016 at 11:24 pm #1161122

You should still need to clear your Facebook data, please paste your target URL here https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ and hit debug. Then click the button “Scrape Again”.
Thanks!
