    Hi

    When I share my website’s url on Facebook, the post displays a random image from the bottom of the home page when i’d like it to display my logo or head of the home page.

    I’ve read through previous threads on this topic and unfortunately, i’ve not been able to make any progress. I don’t feel confident enough to edit the meta information within the code myself. I have inserted my logo into the feature image section in the page settings and also uploaded the logo image within the ‘social fallback image’ section in the customise menu, but neither of these actions have worked.

    Please advise how I get my desired image pulling through when I share my website on social media.

    Hey there,

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – URL you’re sharing to Facebook
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Thank you for providing the credentials, upon checking your site I see you’ve not updated your theme. Please update it to the latest version. You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.

    If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

    How do you share a website link like that on Facebook?

    Please see attached screenshot from my phone to see the problem i’m having.

    This happens when I got to my website and select the option to share on Facebook.

    Hi There,

    I Simply pasted your link on my profile.

    What I believe that is happening, and this is based on my Facebook User Experience, is that Facebook has “recorded” this image on your profile.

    What I mean is, when I shared some link on Facebook and the image doesn´t load on the first time, it never loads on the second time, I guess it is related to Facebook´s Internal Cache.

    I am sure that recommending you testing with a different profile does not help.
