I have been developing a website with xtheme and have been experiencing slow loading time, http error when uploading pictures and when using cornestone have been experiencing very slow developing time e.g. when typing text nothing changes which forces the save either to not work or take very long or both! I also sometime get a server timeout when doing this. as you can imagine it makes a 2min job take 10 mins!!

Would mind adding this in your wp-config.php located at the root directory of your site.

define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );
define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );

You can add it before the line

/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );
define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );

but still the above problems occur

Hi there,

Saving works but yes, it’s slow. Is this migrated site? Because I see different URLs like this http://www.lakeshosting.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/H82-0034-1.jpg and some 404 URLs. That can make the cornerstone load slower.

Would you mind providing your FTP login credentials as well?

Yes it was migrated but i also noticed problems similar it on other developments as well. Could it be something to do with my hosting?
