Wordpress: 4.5.3Hi,
So I need to create an expandable sidebar menu available on the right hand side of all my pages.
This menu will display a login function for my clients. For logged in clients it will display a custom menu.I can create my menu items for both logged out and logged in users.
What i don’t know how to do is create the expandable side menu, that holds the menus i’ve defined.
Any help in creating the expandable side menu will be gratefully appreciated..Regards,
Pace

RahulModeratorHi there,
Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
β Link to your site
β WordPress Admin username / passwordDonβt forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks.July 17, 2016 at 1:23 pm #1090848

BlupaceParticipantHey, ok I’ve instead created a custom menu in the Header with a widget.
This allows my clients to login and logout as required. Is it possible to change the background colour of the header 1 widget area, from white to black, and alter the transparency, also i would like to change the color and size of the text that says Client Area.
After this I should be able to setup alternative menus for logged in users..
Regards,
Pace

BlupaceParticipantAs you can see from the attached image, the top menu is extremely wide.
Is there a way to minimise the size? or shrink the border around each menu item so it doest run across the entire width of the page.. πThanks

BlupaceParticipantI can’t seem to upload the screen shot, but you can see the issue on my site, in the top menu.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for the updates! Before we continue with what you already have which I think it is far enough from what you have in mind. Why don’t you check out SuperFly Menu (http://superfly.looks-awesome.com/). This is a new bundled plugin in X we have included in the last update release (https://theme.co/changelog/#theme-4-6-0). With this plugin, I am guessing than you can do what you have in mind with no coding or adding any php and css codes in the site. Everything can be manage with this plugin I guess. Please do check it out first:

BlupaceParticipantHey, so this is exactly what I want to do, the menus work perfectly.
I have only one question that I hope is fairly easy to answer. You can see from my menu I have everything setup, when my client clicks on Login the page changes to a full page login.
Is it possible to have the default, full page login open instead to a floating box login.
This would be exactly like if i logged out of the site and I get the login box as shown attached.July 18, 2016 at 8:26 am #1091826
BlupaceParticipantIf this can be changed in the default setting or as a class that I can add to my menu item it would be super.
Thanks

LelyModeratorHello There,
See this image of what I am seeing:
Can you clarify what you meant by this:Is it possible to have the default, full page login open instead to a floating box login. Is the attached screenshot on your reply the one you want to achieve? That means we will adjust the size of the box?July 19, 2016 at 5:40 am #1093251
BlupaceParticipantWhat I want its to see the floating login box like in the image I attached, and not the full page like you currently see.
Kind regards,

ChristopherModeratorHey there,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!
