    When I do a search on my site: cabforward.com for “customer development” the homepage shows up. The problem is that the excerpt is filled with html. And,I can’t figure out how to set the excerpt for the homepage.

    Hey there,

    Unfortunately I am not able to replicate this issue on my end. Can you please try clearing your browser cache or search using incognito mode?

    I’m talking about a search on the website. Like this:

    Hi there,

    You can hide homepage from search results as it would be basically a landing page. You can install the plugin Search Everything (https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-everything/).

    Then from it’s options, you can exclude some posts or page IDs. Here’s how you locate Page/ Post IDs (https://community.theme.co/kb/how-to-locate-post-ids/).
