    Hi there,

    be warned: I am a newbie to wordpress in general, the X-theme especially and am of course not able to read html. I still purchased the X-Theme to get my website up and running asap. I woud like it to look 100% like Ethos3 Demo: http://demo.theme.co/ethos-3/

    For several weeks now I have been crawling through forum posts like you suggest to do, trying my very best to achieve my (rather simple) goal, but I still have problems I cannot solve on m own. So please help me, oh dear support, with my construction site:
    http://produkt-farm.de/home

    1. Header Video
    – Where can I set text & the thin lines above and below the text dropping into the frame?
    – What font did you use for that text?
    – Any chance to purchase the video somewhere you used in Ethos3 Demo for me to use as well?
    – I cannot install the Revolution Slider Plugin. See Screenshots attached for errors occurring during installation (when I go for “details” next screen says “Target folder does not exist/Error encountered”).

    2. Navigation Setting
    – Where can I set the site’s position on my one pager to which it shall jump when clicking a link in the menu?
    – I want my navigation simply to look and behave like the demo’s does. Instead mine has different colors, has wrong/different mouse over reactions, no columns in the dropdown nor in the submenu. What is the easiest way to simply copy the exact behavior and look of the demo’s menu?

    Thanks in advance,
    Antje Eichhorn

    Hi There,

    You do all inside Revolution Slider, If you are not familiar with the plugin I reccomend you watching some video tutorials on youtube to learn how to use it and you will be able to achieve that and meany other intersting things.

    – What font did you use for that text?

    Oswald

    – Any chance to purchase the video somewhere you used in Ethos3 Demo for me to use as well?

    You can find similar videos for sale on the internet. Adobe Stock Photo website has videos for reasonable price.

    – I cannot install the Revolution Slider Plugin. See Screenshots attached for errors occurring during installation (when I go for “details” next screen says “Target folder does not exist/Error encountered”).

    You shpould be able to install by accessing Wp Admin Dashboard > Addons, if you are facing issues please provide your wp admin credentials in a private reply.

    2. Navigation Setting
    – Where can I set the site’s position on my one pager to which it shall jump when clicking a link in the menu?

    Turn off Ubermenu plugin.

    – I want my navigation simply to look and behave like the demo’s does. Instead mine has different colors, has wrong/different mouse over reactions, no columns in the dropdown nor in the submenu. What is the easiest way to simply copy the exact behavior and look of the demo’s menu?

    Turn off Ubermenu plugin.

    Let us know how it goes,

    Joao

    Hi there,

    #1 Please follow the instructions here.

    #2 Add this in the custom CSS in the customizer:

    .x-navbar .desktop .x-nav > li > a:hover,
    .x-navbar .desktop .x-nav > .x-active > a,
    .x-navbar .desktop .x-nav > .current-menu-item > a {
        box-shadow: 0 2px 0 0 #ffffff;
    }

    #3 Please login through FTP and go to wp-content/plugins then delete the current revslider directory that is in there then try installing it in the admin page.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey Antje,

    1. Please add the code below in your Cornerstone’s Custom CSS

    .x-pricing-column h2 {
        background: skyblue;
    }

    .x-pricing-column.featured h2 {
        background: black;
    }

    2. See https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress to change your domain name. Also see https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-migration/ to learn how to properly migrate your database.

    After that, you can revoke your license for your old domain in WP Admin > Addons. Then, assign the license to your new domain. See https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/

    Thanks.

    Hi Christian,

    thanks for your advice.
    Is there a way to set some items of a pricing column to another colour, like all not available items in grey?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for updating. Yes it’s possible to change the color of the items. You need to wrap them with a span tag and some inline CSS like this :

    <span style="color: #f54;">First Feature</span>

    See the screenshot – http://prntscr.com/c5mvat

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,
    thank a lot – I implied it and it worked, but now the dividing lines disappeared and the font size is much smaller. I favored the possibility to compare the items directly when the font type was consistent. Is there a way to fix that?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi There,

    Would you mind cleaning your browser cache and testing again?

    If the issue persists please let us know what browser and device you are using while experiencing the issue.

    On My end your menu and Ethos 3 looks exactly the same, the only difference is that on your the “highlight line” is green while on Ethos 3 is read, but regarding dividers and font-size it looks 100% the same.

    Let us know how it goes after you clean the browser cache and if does not behave as expected please provide the information requested above .

    Thanks

    Joao

    Hello,

    I cleared the browser cache but it still looks same. I use Firefox 48.0 and Mac OS Capitan 10.11.5 on a Mac Book Pro. I attach an screenshot of how it looks on my end, tried Google Chrome as well (Version 52.0.2743.116), same there.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

    thank you so much. It is on a very good way – worked for the font size perfectly! Now, the dividing line and distances seem to be divergent.

    Thank you

    Hi There,

    Upon checking your setup I decided to change a bit the strategy.

    The <span> was generating the space, so I styled the icon list item directly without.

    I have now changed your icons to:

    [x_icon_list_item type="times" style="color: grey;"]

    and they are well aligned.

    Hope it helps

    Thanks a lot, the price table looks exactly the way I wanted it too now. I even managed to move the site to produktfarm.de thanks to your guidance.

    Here are some questions left:

    1.)
    http://www.produktfarm.de seems to be a broken link, the one pager site apppears under the link http://www.produktfarm.de/home
    How can I change that?

    2.)
    slider revolution does not accept my purchase code – do I need one to recreate the ethos3 slider?

    3.) I wish to run a blog page within http://www.produktfarm.de It runs as extra side http://www.produktfarm.de/blog. I would love to create a magazine style design more like ethos1 for it. how can I manage that? Do I use the portfolio function for that?

    THANK YOU SO MUCH
    Antje
