when you said set the post categories you didnt say which one and ive set them all still have nothing but a blank white screen

it takes so long with this back n fourth and i just want a simple solution. please be more specific

which categories are you referring to setting so that i see the 5 categories on the top .. WHY DONT YOU JUST SET THIS IS YOUR DEFAULT DEMO AND LET US CHANGE IT .. also it said on your website that the XTHEME is the only theme that comes complete as the demo with all the settings, IMAGES and configurations set after the one click .. but in ethos this is not the case, why?? post categories, portfolio categories, or grid categories .. ive tried some but the bar at the top is still all white..

what im trying to achieve is this https://michaelhyatt.com/ when you click one of the items in the carousel which in michaels case its just blog tabs it will go to one of the 5 categories i set which are

Finance
Leadership
Productivity
Personal Development
Family

so when you click one of the items on the carousel all the posts from the category ” Finance” for example will pull up on the whole page

but right now the carousel is blank even if i set categories with pictures .. it worked a looong time ago but i dont remember the exact steps.. ive been installing and uninstalling all week .. kind of exhausted.. please let me which category to set that works

and last can you please send me a link to the instructions on how to set and edit the foodtruck demo because its not working right with cornerstone i was gonna buy another xtheme but i couldnt get it to work ,,, if you need wpadmin just ask ..

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! The post carousel and the post slider did not display anything because it is being set to display only featured post items. And if you haven’t set a featured post items, then this is the reason why. You can check all these in the customizer, Appearance > Customize > Ethos. For more information, please check out our knowledge base here: https://community.theme.co/kb/customizer-ethos/

Now regarding what you have in mind for the carousel, regretfully we cannot support any modifications to the header other than minor cosmetic changes due to the fact that X is a highly dynamic theme with many elements being constructed on the fly based on options in the Customizer. Among these, the header is one of the more complex elements of the theme and structural modifications to it will likely lead to numerous layout problems as there are a lot of things to take into consideration because of X’s responsive nature. Taking all of this into consideration, these types of updates are out of the scope of our support as their involvement is simply too great and we are a very small team. While we would love to be able to assist all of our users with every customization request, the simple reality is that we cannot cater to every inquiry. Additionally, we will not be able to support any issues that might arise from modifications made to this area on your own.
