patroblesParticipantHi,
Im trying to set up a website for a client and he wanted the ethos 3 look and feelspecifically he wants the websiute to open with ahuge video/image as in the demo which can be collapsed into the Menu.
How do I achieve this?
I tried adding a section to the home page but it can’t be set above the header. I then twinkled around in the personalize area but with no success

JoaoModeratorHi There,
First of all you need to create a full screen Slider Revolution with a video background.
You also need to add some text that will fade from top on the center of your slider,
Instead of creating a slider you also can download this free quality templates from the link below:
https://revolution.themepunch.com/free-slider-exchange/
Once you have create your Slider.
You need to go to your Slider Settings on Slider Revolution and add .masthead to the box indicated on the image attached.
After that, on your home page, you click on Edit Page on your WordPress Top Admin Bar.
Once you are on the back end of your home page scroll down until you find SLIDER ABOVE MASTHEAD
Select the slider you have created and save.
Hope that helps

By activated I mean in the plugin area, it seems as if I havent payed it and the X purchase code wont wrok

patroblesParticipantI also dont get the option to add the .masthead as shown in the image. These are the fields available to me. Finally, I would like to know what ot do in order to add the downward pointing arrow that collapses the slider as in the ethos 3 demo?

RadModeratorHi there,
Some demo slider is downloadable, some aren’t, please only choose the slider that you could download.
The bundled revslider is provided free and we will provide the updates, but if you wish to get the updates and premium demo directly from them, then you’ll have to buy a license from them and activate it.
Please note that bundled plugins are fully functional the same as the licensed plugin, the only difference is how updates are delivered, and some add-ons/features are only available directly from the author.
You can also create your own slider 🙂
About the .masthead, make sure your slider is set to full-screen.
Thanks!

JoaoModeratorHi There,
In WordPress Dashboard, please go to edit your home page, then scroll down to Slider Settings: Above Masthead section, after that check on Enable Scroll Bottom Anchor (http://i.imgur.com/o0CDi5h.png).
Hope this helps.

patroblesParticipantHi Joao, I almost have it set up how I require it.
IS there a way to have the image size to automatically size itself to th esize of the browser, so that whatever browser/monitor size is used the image will be shown as together with the anchor and the full menu (as it does in the ethos3 demo)

patroblesParticipantHi… I dont wan’t it to be full-screen though. I want the slider+header combination all screen sizes, as in the ethos 3 demo
Edit: Found the option to decrease the size of slider by the height of a contianer. I used the classes .masthead and .masthead-stacked and its almost perfect but missing a few px, any advice?

RupokMemberHi there,
Seems fine on my end and don’t think there is any gap for few pixel. Let’s re-attach your screenshot under 512KB.
Thanks!

patroblesParticipantHi, apparently the pixels are a problem with my taskbar and my computer. Sorry I hadn’t answered but this issue is solved =) Thanks!!!
