nillamaryParticipantI’m using the WP editor. Do I need to set up a slider first to get the same parallax affect as in the Demo?
I’ve tried removing [x_section bg_color=”#ffffff” class=”center-text ” style=”margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; padding: 18.5% 0px 18.5% 0px; “] and also added my image.
The following occurs:
1. My image top and bottom is cut off. Top is not such a problem but I need the bottom part (coffee cup of the image).
2. Bottom part displays a green start of the next parallax section. (Think this is because I remove code for the camera icon and the text beneath the Title.)
3. I’ve edited the code to move my Title from centre to right, but would like it more right, much larger, and heavier. I’ve tried applying H1 but it doesn’t make a difference. Many thanks.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Im am quite confused by what you are trying to achieve on your requests, the first one I would reccomend you adding more padding or editing your image on photoshop and re-uploading.
Which demo you are referring to? Is there a special reason why you are not editing in Cornerstone? You cannot use both editors.
Let us know more details,
Thanks
Joao

nillamaryParticipantThanks for your reply.
I already sized my image to 1500x750px in Lightroom before uploading it to my Media, not sure why it now displays as 1125 x 750px. I’ll look at this again and try to work out how to fix this.
The Demo I loaded is the Ethos 2 stack: http://demo.theme.co/ethos-2/ I would like similar parallax behaviour to this Demo. For example, the first image displays (Home), then scrolling down displays another image, scrolling further displays an interactive map, which I need to deal with yet, then scrolling further brings up my 2 or 3-column Galleries of photos.
The reason for not using Cornerstone is that I’ve read much on your Forum and there seems to be many issues with Cornerstone. Also, the fact that Cornerstone adds much unwanted code.
I am not using both editors, I only use WP Editor. I think what’s happening is when I provide my login details, support people choose to use Cornerstone over the WP Editor. I then go into an area for example, my Home page, and notice it now defaults to Cornerstone, whereas before it was the WP Editor as that’s what I’ve worked on. I do not wish to use Cornerstone.
Thanks again.

RadModeratorHi there,
Still, you’ll use shortcodes to implement it. Similar shortcodes generated by cornerstone when creating parallax background. You may check this too http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/content-band/, that’s visual composer’s shortcodes but should work the same.
Cheers!

nillamaryParticipantYep, I’m happy with that as long as I can get the same effect as the Demo in Ethos 2 I’ve loaded, then that’s great.
Thanks for your help! 🙂
