I just purchase X based on the advice of a friend. I was going to buy a theme ready to go on the Genesis framework, but she said I would love X. I am a blogger and entrepreneur and just need to put my site together. I was with wordpress.com for several years and realized I needed to switch to wordpress.org. It has been a nightmare. And so far X has been a nightmare. I followed the demo installation exactly. I understand it is supposed to offer the option of placeholders, etc. so you can see what the demo should look like. I thought I was getting a theme to work with, not a website building from scratch program. Please help or I will need to switch to something else. I have zero idea how to navigate this whole thing. Also, on your slider help page it says click here to download free demo slider. Negative. You have to register and pay. Your tutorial says not to register. But my slider plugin won’t activate without registering. trulyblissful.com

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in and happy new year! Your website is under maintenance so can’t check the current setup. However X is easy to use and you will love it for sure, just give some time initially as you are new to WordPress as well (wordpress.org is way different than .com). If you have any specific question where we can assist you that would be helpful. Let us know where you are stuck at. And you can download the demo sliders from here – http://revolution.themepunch.com/free-slider-exchange/
You don’t need to pay for the slider as it’s integrated with X but if you need premium feature like direct support from plugin developer then the standalone license is required.

    Cheers!
