    Hi,

    Under certain circumstances, the Essential Grid’s Skin Editor setting: Layout Composition–>Link/SEO–>Add Link To, when set to None, does not work as expected.

    I am working on a local install so I can not provide you with a url –sorry about that– but you could easily reproduce the issue, that occurs under the following conditions:

    • The sources must be Vimeo videos set in a regular posts (within the Alternative Sources tab).
    • Choose the skin HowardTaft
    • In the Skin Editor (for HowardTaft), in Layer Settings, for the eg-icon-play layer, within the Link/SEO tab, set the Link To option to Lightbox.
    • Go to the Layout Composition metabox and, within the Link/SEO tab, make sure that Add Link To is set to None.

    Now, if you go to the grid and hover on one of the grid’s items, you will notice that clicking on some areas of the cover (background) or clicking on the title –even if the title’s Link To option is set to none– triggers the video, which is not the expected behavior. The cover and title should no be linking to anything.

    Notice that, under other conditions, the behavior is correct –for instance, when the layer eg-icon-play’s Link To option is set to Play Embedded Video or when the source of the item is an image (not a video).

    Hi Diego,

    Thank you for the credentials.
    I am able to check your setup and yes, I can see that you have set to disable the link for Cover but on the frontend the link is still working which enable video link anywhere on the grid. We will forward this to the developer for further checking. We will let you know once we have an update.

    Thank you for investigating the issue and for reporting it to ThemePunch, I look forward to a fix from them.

    Do you still need to have access to my admin backend? If that is not the case I would rather revert the firewall configuration to block any login attempts from outside my country.
