RupokMemberHi there,
It seems you are using an older version of X. Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)
You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.
If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

LelyModeratorHi There,
Upon checking, you have set Maximum Rows to just 2 on Grid Settings > Pagination. But then you didn’t add Pagination on Nav-Filter-Sort Tab.
Please check this documentation for guidance:https://www.themepunch.com/essgrid-doc/columns-rows-pagination/#paginationHope this helps.

awecesarParticipantThanks, works great now except for one thing:
I want the newest item to be the newest item in the grid and the oldest one should be the last. Somehow Essential Grid shows me a very weird way of ordering the items. I think it first orders the posts, then the pages, etc.
Could you look into that? Thanks!!July 7, 2016 at 9:00 am #1076478
Paul RModeratorHi,
Kindly refer to the link below

Hope that helps.

awecesarParticipantThanks for the link.
Does that mean I have to make a custom grid for that? But then I have to create them every post by myself instead of it being generated automatically right?July 10, 2016 at 12:26 am #1079885
Rue NelModeratorHello There,
The grid will display the grid items by ordering the publishing date of the post, page or portfolio items but then, post is loaded first and then so on and so fort. Including the pages or portfolio items in your grid is not a good way of presenting information. Pages are for content such as “About,” “Contact,” etc. Pages live outside of the normal blog chronology, and are often used to present timeless information about yourself or your site — information that is always applicable. And Posts are entries listed in reverse chronological order on the site homepage or on the posts page if you have set one in Reading Settings. If you have created any sticky posts, those will appear before the other posts. Posts can be found in the Archives, Categories, Recent Posts, and other widgets. Posts are also displayed in the RSS feed of the site. You can control how many posts are displayed at a time in the Reading Settings.
I will highly recommend that you re think of your grids so that you can be able to display information and put things in order. It is also not good for your site visitors if you present them with a mixed content which would somehow be confusing.
Hope this make sense.

awecesarParticipantthanks, sorry that im still asking but:
you said it will order them due to the date but posts come first. Does that mean it when a portfolio item and post have the same date he will choose the post at first? Or does that mean that he will show ALL posts and then everything else (pages, portfolio items) even if they are published later than some posts?THanks!

RadModeratorHi there,
They will be displayed at the same time ordered by date. If portfolio has newer date, then it will be on top of a post that has older date.
Thanks!

awecesarParticipantThanks Rad, would you then tell me why that is not happening with my Essential Grid?

LelyModeratorHello There,
I did check the essential grid on your homepage and it is ordered by date. From left to right and from top to bottom. Here’s the order and the date as I’ve checked each item on the grid
1.) http://fourtylove.com/top-5-tennis-shoes-2016/ -> Page ->Jun 30, 2016 @ 00:07
2.) http://fourtylove.com/portfolio-item/babolat-projectone7/ -> Portfolio -> May 11, 2016 @ 12:42
3.) http://fourtylove.com/portfolio-item/new-babolat-jet-release/ -> Portfolio -> Feb 13, 2016 @ 20:49
4.) http://fourtylove.com/portfolio-item/top-5-tennis-rackets-2016/ -> Portfolio -> Jan 2, 2016 @ 20:38
5.) http://fourtylove.com/portfolio-item/head-prestige-2016-leaked/ -> Portfolio -> Aug 29, 2015 @ 21:20Are you expecting different result? Please clarify.
